Neighbors helping neighbors is what Foley Area C.A.R.E. is all about. Seniors can benefit by living independently in the home of their choice as long as possible with help of the services our program provides. C.A.R.E. takes the burden off family members faced with senior challenges.

Program Activities

The Foley Area C.A.R.E. Program provides services to people age 60 and older regardless of their ability to pay. Our services include:

friendly visiting
respite care
homemaking
chores
minor home repair/modification
transportation
grocery shopping
physical fitness programs
food distribution program
yard work

"I appreciate everything the C.A.R.E. Program does for me. The volunteer comes in to dust, vacuum and scrub my floors. She sits and visits with me when she is done which I look forward to each time she arrives. If I didn’t have the help of the C.A.R.E. Program I would probably have to go into an assisted living facility."
