UPCOMING EVENTS:
===================================
3rd Annual Health and Wellness Fair
We would like to invite you to participate in our 3rd Annual Health and Wellness Fair. We are excited to be partnering with Foley Community Education and will therefore hold the event at the Foley Schools Fieldhouse this year. St. Paul’s Lutheran Church was an excellent space for the Health and Wellness Fair, but we have outgrown that facility. The space at the fieldhouse will allow us to invite more vendors and provide more hands on activities for participants. Participants will be encouraged to use the 1/8 mile walking track and maybe even the basketball hoops!
Our purpose for sponsoring this event is to inform the community of health related services that are available. If you know of anyone else who might be interested please pass this along.
When: Saturday, October 17, 2009
Where: Foley Public Schools Fieldhouse, 840 Norman Ave N, Foley, MN 56329
Time:
10:00 am to 2:00 pm
We encourage vendors to have hands on activities for the visitors to participate in. Something related to your field like vision testing, hearing testing, massages, some sort of game, etc. Hand out materials and free stuff for them to take home is suggested as well.
This is an opportunity to let the community know what services you offer and your location. If you would like to participate in this event, please fill out the bottom portion of this form and mail it to Foley Area CARE, PO Box 205, Foley, MN 56329. We are charging a $15 booth fee to help cover costs. Non-profits are exempt from paying the booth fee. Make checks payable to Foley Area CARE. Return this form and a check by April 30, 2009, to ensure that your business will be listed in the Fall 2009 Foley Community Education Guide. Mark you calendar and we will contact you with more information as the event approaches.

Cell Phones Still Available...
Do you or anyone you know need a cell phone? Telecom Pioneers has gathered and refurbished used cell
phones. These recycled cell phones are available for emergency use. The phones can be kept charged
and used to dial 911 in case of an emergency.
The Foley Area C.A.R.E. Program is serving as the contact organization to make arrangements
for you to receive an emergency cell phone.
Your old cell phones are valuable to the C.A.R.E. program.
CARE receives money from the phones to help fund our program.
Frandsen Bank, Foley Rexall, and St Paul’s Lutheran Church are drop-off spots for your old phones.
